Cancellation policy

This policy sets out your cancellation rights in relation to pre-orders placed through Holly and Ivy.

1. Pre-Orders

1.1 When you place a pre-order, full payment is collected at the time of purchase to secure your item. Estimated arrival dates are provided at the time of purchase and are subject to change due to supplier and shipping delays outside our control.

2. Cancellations

2.1 We do not accept cancellations of pre-orders for change of mind once payment has been made. Please consider your purchase carefully before placing a pre-order.

2.2 Notwithstanding clause 2.1, you may request a cancellation and full refund in the following circumstances:

a) The estimated arrival date has changed significantly from the date represented at the time of purchase and the new date is not acceptable to you.

b) The product becomes unavailable or is discontinued and we are unable to fulfil your order.

c) The product, when it arrives, is materially different from its description at the time of purchase.

d) Any other circumstance in which you would be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

2.3 To request a cancellation under clause 2.2, please contact us as soon as possible at online@hollyandivy.com.au or (03) 9917 3171, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

2.4 We will assess all cancellation requests promptly and respond within 5 business days.

3. Buy Now Pay Later

3.1 If you use a Buy Now Pay Later service such as Afterpay or PayPal Pay in 4 to purchase a pre-order, your payment arrangement is governed by that provider's own terms and conditions. Selecting a BNPL payment method does not change or expand your cancellation rights under this policy. Please contact your provider directly for any queries about your payment plan.

4. Australian Consumer Law

4.1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
